Mike had a birthday this weekend! I made him open his presents while he was still asleep and we went to Animal Jungle and had parrot times. Well, Mike did – I found the giant bird room really intimidating – I think Mike will secretly go back this week. We had dinner with his friends and watched “Starcrash” – a dubbed shitty ass space movie from the 70’s. There was a redneck robot in the movie, Elle – I wonder if he had the equivalent of a foreign hillbilly accent in the original (Italian?) version?

Poladroid is a new mac app that converts your digital photos into digital polaroids. I know it’s no substitution for the physical thing, but fun nonetheless! Above is Mike’s Halloween costume, he was a zombie mime! I was a black panther, it didn’t turn out so great, I’ll prepare better next year. Annie is here for voting tomorrow morning, here is a “poladroid” of her and Mackie from the summer.

Mike showed me how to eat a Pomegranate this week, what work! Now I know why the juice is so expensive. Do you people eat the seeds?

2 weeks ago Ginny, Anna-Claire, Kyle, Mike and I went to the State Fair. We saw/ate pretty rabbits, cheap boot socks, miniature homes, an animatronic pig, fried soda, bonsai forests, potato people and livestock. We didn’t ride any rides, a sign of our age?
