Electronic Castaways

Ginny turned 27 this week. A-C made a Mighty Boosh themed birthday dinner at Kobe on Friday. I think Ginny liked it – so it was a success! I think Japanese steakhouses are fun even though I don’t eat the meat.

I am HOPELESS with names, faces and people.

Ginny and Anna-Claire were Ab Fab for Halloween!

Fair Timez

2 weeks ago Ginny, Anna-Claire, Kyle, Mike and I went to the State Fair. We saw/ate pretty rabbits, cheap boot socks, miniature homes, an animatronic pig, fried soda, bonsai forests, potato people and livestock. We didn’t ride any rides, a sign of our age?

Magical Creatures

Here is Seven hanging with the latest addition to my room. I have Ginny to thank for pretty much everything on my walls. Coming soon: boring pictures of my fancy new mattress.

Ginny’s House

Ginny had her 2nd annual “party in August”… for lack of a better name. There were comfy lounge chairs from Ollie’s, a questionable punch, Old Cubans, high wasted pants, cupcakes and appearances made by rare and magical creatures… Special K as well as Fourness and Duffy sisters! Ginny is a wonderful and gracious host, even if she did pass out receiving advice from her guests. This mess needs a damn name for ‘09!

Lindsey Benjamin Franklin’s Philadelphia Home of Patriotism

The weekend of the 4th was spent with Ginny & Lindsey at Lindsey’s “West Philadelphia Home”. Our travels up and back included a van with the license plate BONG and getting foiled by Maryland Starbucks signs both ways. Lindsey showed us a lot of delicious food, a lot of rain, a giant bottle of vodka, and a drunk NSFW “house-clothes” photoshoot. Maybe we showed her those last two thing. Other highlights: meeting JOSEPH, “My Blueberry Nights” (terrible movie directed by Patches the cat), vegetarian cheese steak, Chinese jewelry shop, strange cat necklace for Anna-Claire (that I lost!), and finally Ginny’s night in the bath tub.

I’ve got some photos up at my flickr.

Susan’s Wedding Party

A good looking bride threw a good party. Congratulations Susan! Are you using your new e-mail address?

Weekend at The Hotel Cat

I spent this weekend at The Hotel Cat, aka Ginny’s place in Southside. Four kitties of various sizes and dispositions were at my beck and call. In the sink brushing my teeth, on the computer writing my e-mails, doing my laundry, offering beauty makeovers, etc.

Ginny and I saw supported Hot Lava, peeped on people having sex in a car, pulled A-C off the roof and out of her romper, ate a lot of Mexican, drank vodka and watched Susan say farewell to dudez. It was a solid weekend.

Also, Winston (I am not referring to Ginny) was a guest on Pot Psychology! (I’m sorry I sweat Winston…)
