Tonight I broke down and bought CameraBag. Although I have Photoshop, I’m embarassed to say I’d much rather use instant filters. Photography is hard!, ask Ginny and the rolls of black 120 film I keep giving her.

So neat.

This past weekend I got to spend the day with Annie and my favorite dog, Chuck / Big Face. Annie mentioned a while back that she wanted to find a home for him, and ever since I have been pining for him. Everyone I’ve spoken to about this (including Annie) said “Bad Idea! You can’t handle the disgusting!” The farts, the drool, destroyed shoes, slimy car… and I now agree I can’t. I do love him so much – I hope she has to keep him forever. We went to the park, watched Suze Orman, and went to the mega-huge Forever 21 at Regency Mall, it’s like it’s own department store. I got red shoes.

Been busy lately but I have two things to share.

I made this coffeecake tonight! FROM SCRATCH! first time! I used the Cinnamon Coffee Cake recipe from I Like You. I am saving it for tomorrow, hopefully it doesn’t taste gross. If people are willing to eat this I want to make something else.

I saw this pretty bird near Mike’s house. We stopped for a while, admired, photographed… and then he crapped/peed everywhere.

This is “Shitty Kitty” or “Boo Radley”. He/She has been lurking around on and off outside of my apartment since I moved in. Recently I caved and started feeding this little cat. I worry about it when it rains – it has pine needles stuck to its butt and patches of fur missing. I wish I could be the one to give it a home, but I am not here most weekends and I work all week. That’s not really  fair to any pet, and why Seven flew the coop and shacked up with my parents. Tonight he/she sat outside my door for 3 hours trying to hang out. As it’s getting colder my dad suggested taking Shitty to the SPCA, but what if they put it to sleep?

Also, what if it’s someone’s pet that insists on going outside and being disgusting? I was thinking of putting a collar and tag on that says “If you own me take care of me!” or “Call Alicia! :)”

Anybody need a black cat with bear fur whose tongue hangs out (just a little bit)?

Last week Annie helped me do a Big Face photo shoot. I think his real name is Buck or Chuck or Meatwad or something, but his Christian name is Big Face. He is the most lovely sloppy dog in the world, he enjoys getting petted and sitting on people.

This is Annie and Flza’s new dog Big Face. His face looks like an open wound, and he’s covered in drool… and smells like eggs – but something about him makes him great!

Ginny sent me this FAKE looking photo – apparently it’s a real Dumbo Octopus. Look at these weird animals!

Seven found this holiday dress at the Dollar Store. I retouched her eye boogers.

This is a picture I “made” of Seven at the emergency vet this weekend. When I came home from work Friday she was scooting about and her ass was a mess (literally). She’s had trouble like this before so off to the emergency vet we went. They fixed her anal glands and shaved her butt – she has a monkey butt now.
