The new Cat Power (mostly) covers album is a let down, beginning with the crummy cover art. I will still listen to it because I love the Cat and there are a handful of enjoyable tracks.

I can’t tell if Chan’s newer, more mainstream image is just her being weird or her being newer and more mainstream.
I think it’s influenced by sobriety + her 30’s + Karl Lagerfeld.
